"Tara"
aka "The Barker"
This is Tara. She is a Blue Merle Australian Shepherd that technically belongs to Jessica.... but we share. Tara will begin competing in agility trials in February! She helps out at the farm chasing cattle (whether we tell her to or not) and is the greeting committee at our store. Tara has completely hooked our family on Aussies. Incredibly smart and beautiful.

Tara has officially begun Agility trials and LOVES them! She's a tad bit over exuberant .... ok... maybe a whole lot over exuberant but she tries very hard. We have great hopes that one day she (and I) will actually make it thru a course and leave all the jumps up!

Tara has earned her first title in agility! Way to go Tara! We're working on her standard novice title now and moving on to open jumpers.

Tara earned her novice standard title and is now in open standard! Yeah! We have a couple of trials lined up for this summer but will be taking a break for dressage shows.
5-11-08
Tara earned a couple more legs this weekend at a trial in Hutto. One more open jumpers leg and we'll be in Excellent jumpers! Woo hooo!

Tara now has her Open Jumpers Title and we're running in Excellent Jumpers with one leg already. Cool!
Update 1-30-09
Tara earned her Open Standard Title and is now running in Excellent A Standard. She even qualified in her first run at Exc standards! Yeah Tara!!!! You go Girl!
Update 5-30-09
Tara earned her Excellent Jumpers title in May and then earned 13 Mach points at her very next trial! Yeah!
Nicky ... just a happy-go-lucky guy! Nicky with his mom Maully
Nicky was with us for only a very short time. He was a male German Shepherd that we raised out of Maully. I was very definitely his person and he gave a new name to my winter coveralls ...now they will always be known as "The bite-suit". He has a very special place in my heart. I still miss him.
This is James' dog Maully. She is a purebred AKC German Shepherd. She adores James and pretty much just tolerates the rest of us.

Jezabelle
This is Jezabelle!
Jezza is a red merle Australian Shepherd female that we bought for Chris. She is currently staying with us here in Texas but will be going home with Chris at Christmas. She's looking forward to having her own boy to play frisbie with and maybe even some agility. Won't she look great sitting up front with Chris in his FJ7?! Well .... in between the mud romps she has daily lol!

"Kinya"
This is Kinya, Jessica's second attempt to have a puppy. Since Tara choose me for her person, we decided to try again. It worked this time! Kinya is an AKC red merle Aussie female with a wonderful personality. She has bonded well with Jessica and they are looking forward to running agility trials in the future.
