Shazam wins Grand Champion Half Welsh Pony at the Tulsa Welsh pony show!

Zammie showed for his first time in a Welsh show in a halter class at the Tulsa pony show and proved that he could hold his own. He also went in a few under saddle classes and was a very level headed cool competitor there as well pinning 2nd and 3rd in those classes.

Shazam wins high score at the Abilene Lone Star Stables dressage schooling show! Zammie was shown in first level tests 1 and 2 and scored a 62.3% and a 73% percent respectively and won both his classes! Not bad especially considering that the wind was blowing with 20+ mph gusts! We were unable to get any photos and due to technical difficulties the videos my daughter took are a wash. Maybe next time.

Kaliedoscope wins SWDC Reserve Champion 3rd level amateur!

Kallie wowed them at the Southwest Dressage Championships with a brilliant ride in 3rd level amateur. At only 13.2 hands, she showed the crowd just what a power packed little pony could do! She bested several very nice warmbloods to win reserve and was not far off from the winning score. And she only showed once during the summer to get her qualifications for the championships. Amazing little mare!!!

Balitar .. aka Alcapony

This guy is what got me started down the pony road. What a character! Solid black ... not a spec of white ..... 13 hands ... Arabian / Welsh cross gelding.... he was shown for several years on the "A" circuit on the east coast .. think he's still out there..... I bought him as a 4 year old out of a backyard, started him over fences and sold him into a hunter barn. I was bitten by the pony bug.

Pyjamarama

Pecan Creek's Timpanist x Pecan Creek's Harmony

PJ is one of those ponies that you just want to pick up and put in your pocket he's so cute! He inherited his mom's powerhouse trot and boy can he kick it in gear! He and Jessica routinely beat me and whoever I am showing in halter classes ... and she doesn't EVER let me forget it. PJ has won numerous in-hand classes and championships at open shows against all breeds of horses and ponies. He and Jessica also love to go exploring around the farm.

Savoirfaire

Pecan Creek's Timpanist x Great Beauty

Savvy is a grey 14.1 hand gelding. He was shown at Tulsa as a 2 year old and placed second in his class. He also won High Point Zone Champion his 3 yr old year and numerous other in-hand classes and championships. He was shown successfully in dressage to 3rd level and also was shown in a few hunter shows.. He now has his very own little girl who he is teaching dressage to and they have done well at schooling shows including a recent Champion Intro Level.
