Well we are planning more big things in 2008 for Blazen. After a quiet winter we plan to hit the shows in March with a bang in Intermediate 2. We're aiming at Grand Prix by mid summer. Very exciting for both of us! We've been working very hard at our passage /piaffe tour and it shows. Blazen will have to share a bit of the spotlight this year with his stablemate, Kallie, as she is ready to debut at Prix St Georges and will hopefully be traveling to several shows with us.

We're off to Katy on April the 25th for the Houston Spring Shows. Hopefully we'll have better rides than we did at our first spring show where apparently we had lots of first-show-of-the-year jitters and scored low scores. Kallie is going as well and will debut her Prix St Georges. That should be interesting.
Update 4-28-08
Blazen and I finally got our act together at Intermediate 2 at the Houston Spring Dressage shows. We scored a 59.262% on Saturday with some really nice work including the 1 tempes and our piaffe passage tour was much better than previous shows. On Sunday we managed to put together the sticky canter half-pass zig-zag and earned a score of 60.488%! Yeah Blazen!
